Tiffany Like Jewelry Knock Off Compared
Knock off is such a cheap sounding word. It sounds like some cheap plastic purse you'd pick up down some back alley in Shanghai. (Okay, on the street in Shanghai. Same with New York. Alley not necessary.)
There is alot on the web having to do with Tiffany inspired jewelry. You have Tiffany Style, Tiffany Knock Off and Tiffany-Like.
Hats off to Tiffany. They make a great piece of jewelry. Imitation is the highest form of flattery. I took note of just how close some of these knock-offs are to original.
First of all this comparison must begin with Price. There are knock offs because Tiffany's price, can be, on the expensive side. All of this is relevant of course.
A Nov. 2007 review on Amazon.com of a piece of Tiffany Inspired Jewelry, (The Cascading Stars Sterling Silver Lariat from evesaddiction.com) had this to say "This item looks just like the Tiffany's version that my sister wanted. I can't wait to give this to her for Christmas!"

Let's have a look at both pieces.
Tiffany "Inspired" is the keyword. This piece of jewelry was inspired by Tiffany. Such a more appropriate word than Knock Off. Perhaps those boys in Shanghai will start to sell, "Inspirations" instead of Knock Offs.
