Jewelry and Ring Sizes
Gone are the days when people visited the local jeweler to buy jewelry. With such irresistible variety available online, who would like to limit himself to what is available locally.
But when you order online, you don’t have the luxury of a jeweler taking the measurements. With little knowledge of jewelry sizes you can do the job yourself.
For determining the right bracelet or bangle size, measure just below the wrist bone with a soft tape and add one inch. Likewise, for an anklet measure the ankle. The ring size can be determined by wrapping a string around the third finger and measuring it against a ruler. This would form the inside diameter of the ring.
For a necklace, first choose the type that you want and measure using a string. A collar necklace is draped around the middle of the neck. A choker necklace is a bit longer and lies around the base of the neck. A princess necklace plunges below the throat and a matinee necklace is even longer.
